Story of 2018: Chapter Nine (Pages 267 - 273)

I could get used to these Monday's off work! I can get a lot of things done on my to-do list, which is something I am definitely aiming for today. I got to make a few phone calls which I've been putting off for days. I hate speaking on the phone, I end sounding like a jabbering monkey after a few minutes. But first things first, my car is having it's MOT done today. Let's get it over there!

Well, that did my lungs the world of good! It has woken me up and I feel ready to crack on with Monday!
Ok, I've made those phone call I had to make (thank heavens) and I've washed my hair, dried and straightened it, now I need to do some blogging photos.
Ok, I'm back at the garage. The car has passed it's MOT (silent cheer) and now I'm waiting for it to be driven out of the garage. Now, I can't be the only person who does this -
This can't be just me, surely?! I hate anyone else driving my car! It's like "That car is mine!" nobody else should drive it but me. Well, I know that's not possible, because before long I'm going to have to hand this car back in when I get my new one. Right, let's not think about that!

I have a few things to do today. But all I'm doing is staring at the Boux Avenue checkout -
I did buy some new gym gear eventually, I also purchased a pair of pyjamas. Well, mine are old and are in desperate need of being thrown out!
Right, after I've had a very productive morning, despite a delay in doing some online shopping.
I have really enjoyed this morning! I've got so much more blogging stuff done this morning than I've done in the last few days! I do love a productive morning. It brings out the best in me!

It's been lovely eating my breakfast this morning without feeling like I'm going to barf it all up straight after. Oh, didn't I tell you? I took my last Cipro last night! I actually couldn't wait to put the bread in the toaster when I woke up, then smear lots of that lovely Clover butter all over the piping hot bread, then devour it and just enjoy it without feeling the need to throw it all up afterwards!
Before I decide to put a half a loaf of bread in the toaster, I better get ready for work.
I've come home from work, it's been a long day. A REALLY long day. But I've come home to this exciting parcel -

Roll neck jumpers is what I shall be buying from now on for the Winter. They're so cosy and snuggly. I want it to be Saturday so I can wear it. There's no way I am wearing this to work!
Oh, I forgot to tell you! Remember when I bought those books from Amazon a couple of weeks back? I finished reading one of them!
It really is a great book. It took me a chapter or two to get into it but it is definitely worth the read. I couldn't put it down in the last few days.
Right, Liverpool are playing now, see you in 90 minutes!
*Update - a 2-1 loss. Bugger.
We'll beat them on Saturday instead. Let's stay positive. Quite hard to after we've just lost though.

I can't really say much today. It's not that I don't want to, I can assure you, but it's just I can't!

I hate it when this happens. It' snot ideal when you're working with 5 year olds all day. Oh god, I hope they behave today, I don't think I have the strength to raise my voice - well, I can't really can I?!

It's Friday! Here's an update on my voice - still sound a little like Phil Mitchell but it isn't as bad as it was yesterday. I feel like I can't do anything when my voice disappears! Ok, I need to get off my arse and get ready for work, I really don't have the energy to go out today.
I've made it through work (just) and now I'm sat down, waiting for a takeaway, drinking this -

I got a feeling this is going to hit me quicker than it normally would.
Poppadum's seem to make everything ok. Poppadum's are the one. Ok, I think I need to stop drinking the rose.

An update on my voice on this lovely Saturday morning - I don't sound like Phil Mitchell anymore, but it's still a little raspy. Why won't it come back?! But something has perked me up, thanks to the postman and Boux Avenue -

You got to love a Boux Avenue sale. I think buying new gym gear really gets you motivated to work out!
I love having painted nails, but mine chip after a day or two, which is highly annoying. It never chips from my toes though, I find that so strange. But Rimmel Super gel has been a god send for my nails, I reapplied on a couple of fingers after a tape dispenser incident in work this week (don't ask).
I've just dropped my Mam off for her night out, it's now time for me to settle down for the football and Strictly. A perfect Saturday evening.
*Update - a 1-1 draw. I'll certainly take that!
Obviously I would have loved it if we won, but I'd have still taken a draw today.

I cannot believe it is the last day of September! There's like three months of the calendar year left of 2018 - jeez, time really does fly by.

I woke up late this morning so I'm behind with all the things I need to do today. Uh oh. I better get a move on, but let's drink this green tea first before it gets cold.
I really don't know I have, but I have completed everything I need to do today - in time for Strictly.
Anton is so entertaining, I really do wish they'd give him a decent partner. Hopefully they will next year.
