Spring is here and it really fills my heart with joy. With lighter evenings, blooming flowers, cherry blossoms and the return of leafy trees, Spring feels like the season of new awakenings. They say that Spring is the season of new beginnings, and I totally believe that's true.

I've always been a lover of Spring, it's a season where I genuinely feel at my happiest. I would go as far as saying that Spring is my favourite season of the year. It makes me feel like I (and everyone else) have made it through the dark depths of Winter. There now feels like a kind of excitement and optimism in the air, which is so unbelievably refreshing.

The weather has a big part to play in our returning positivity and brightness in Spring. You know that better weather is coming. Honestly, I'm not entirely looking forward to melting in 30-degree heat when Summer eventually arrives. But Spring is weather that is a lot more tolerable, even when Spring showers are sprung upon us.

Another reason why Spring feels like a new awakening is that Spring marks the time of year when we have our traditional and customary 'Spring Clean'. Whether that be sorting our clothes, cleaning the house from top to bottom or getting the garden ready for the warmer months ahead, the Spring Clean is actually an act of Spring I genuinely look forward to. It's kind of like on New Year's Eve when you open the door at midnight to let the old year out and let the new year in. Instead, you're letting Winter out and welcoming Spring in.

Winter brings a lot of the so-called winter blues for me. The only things I enjoy about Winter these days are hot chocolates, oversized jumpers and Christmas. But literally, as soon as January arrives, I am counting down the days to Spring Equinox. The warmer weather and longer days are good for the soul and mental health.

With Spring comes new signs of hope, positivity, renewal, growth and beginnings. Spring symbolises the end of Winter and it's something I am sure we are all welcoming with open arms. The season of Spring will always be a season of new awakenings.

I'd love to know what you love about Spring!

It's no secret that I am dedicated to my daily skincare routine. Also, it's not a secret that I am an avid Liz Earle skincare fan. I've loved their skincare since I tried their Cleanse & Glow Transforming Cleanser last year. Now Liz Earle has added two new additions to their *Cleanse & Glow range - the Smooth & Glow Exfoliating Tonic and the Revitalise & Glow Illuminating Moisturiser.

Liz Earle's Cleanse & Glow Range

As I've already been using the Cleanse & Glow Transforming Cleanser for a while now, it's been lovely to add these two new additions to this cleanser and see how well they work together as a skincare range.

So, what are my thoughts on the Liz Earle Cleanse & Glow Range?

Let's start with the Transforming Cleanser.

Liz Earle Cleanse & Glow Range

Now, I won't talk about the cleanser too much as I have reviewed it on my blog before. I haven't stopped using this cleanser since I used it for the first time last year. I love how it goes from gel to milk in the space of 30 seconds. It still gives my skin a luminous glow and it's great at getting the skin prepped for the next step of the routine. The next part of my skincare comes next...

The Liz Earle Smooth & Glow Exfoliating Tonic

I have to admit, I've always been a bit sceptical about toners/tonics. Purely because I always got the impression they would make my skin feel dry. But this Liz Earle Smooth & Glow Exfoliating Tonic is the exception. It's given my skin a glow, it's non-irritating on my skin, which is a massive bonus. Another advantage of this tonic is that it's suitable for all skin types and it's a gentle alternative to acid exfoliation. This tonic has made the world of difference to my skin and I won't use any other toner but this one now! Let's move on to the moisturiser...

The Liz Earle Revitalise & Glow Illuminating Moisturiser

The last product of the Liz Earle Cleanse & Glow range is the Revitalise & Glow Illuminating Moisturiser. The moisturiser has a bright yellow/orange gel-cream texture (kind of looks like custard?) and it instantly absorbs when rubbed in. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and supple and nourishes it also. It actually smells divine too, something that I never usually say about any moisturiser! I adore this moisturiser and it will be a staple in my morning skincare routine.
