We are in the midst of Easter, which means we are at the end of March. Feels like only just yesterday that at the beginning of the month we were waking up on the first day of March to 6ft of snow. Ah yes, the Beast from the East, that is one beast I do not want to see again.

It is officially Spring now, it doesn't feel like it right now, but hopefully in April the temperatures will start to climb and that I can finally pack my jumpers away until at least October.

Lookbook - Casual Days

There are those days where I just don't want to make 'too' much effort and prefer the casual ensemble. These days in particular usually happen on the weekend. I don't want to be wearing my best clothes just to go food shopping in Morrison's or taking my Nan to bingo. I'm one of those people who hates wasting a good outfit on an insignificant day.

I love creating new outfits, usually Pinterest is my go to fashion inspiration when I need it. Pinterest is a great way to search for different outfit ideas for clothes you already own and ones you want to get more use out of.

This outfit is the perfect example. I wanted to find a way to wear these khaki jeans from River Island (similar). They've been stuck in the back of my wardrobe for a while, I wanted to get some wear out of them. I seen an idea on Pinterest which inspired this outfit:

Today is a huge day in the CF community.
It's the huge debate in parliament today about the drug Orkambi being made available on the NHS. It's a massive day for people with Cystic Fibrosis who would be entitled to the life changing medication. Hopefully it'll be a good day for us CFer's!

Why CF is my Biggest Fear and Biggest Accomplishment

Ok, I’m not 100% sure that this post is going to go down too well, but bear with me.

I’ve always said that CF won’t beat me or it won’t define the person I am, but it is still a huge part of my daily life, regardless of whether I choose to let it define me or not.

Ok, I admit, it doesn't feel like Spring right now. Some of us have had more snow over the last few days and I think i'm right in saying that we're all a little peed off with it. But it is apparently meant to be the first day of Spring today. I'm sure in a few days we'll start seeing the brightness and vibrancy of Spring, well, I hope. But here are my favourite things about this lovely season:

I'm sure that I'm part of the 100% of people who hate going to work on Monday morning after the weekend. But going back to work today for me meant this is highly likely going to occur -
Oh, this is going to be a banter filled morning. Not easy working with kids when I know that they will rub it in.
I've just been to Boots to buy some Vitamin E capsules because my chemist can't get them in right now cause the supplier are out of stock, £7.99 for a pot of Vitamins! Ridiculous money! Thank god I'll only need to buy them just for this month only! Today has made me extremely grateful that living in Wales means I don't have to pay for my prescription.

Is there a right or wrong way with fashion?

I look in the mirror at this outfit I’ve managed to pull out of my overstuffed wardrobe, and my inner self puts her fashionista glasses on, peeks over them and says, “Girl, I think you’ve got this outfit bang on today!"

Things Comprehensive School Never Taught Me

Comprehensive school are supposed to be the days where you learn everything that needs to be learnt to get through this thing called life with ease and with little complications.

I seen this great post by Skylish that inspired me to write this. Her post got me thinking, what did high school really teach me about the different aspects of life?

All I can remember was that you had to have your earphones with you to listen to the music on your Sony Erikson phone to get you through lesson work, you HAD to own a McKenzie jacket, I was one of those unfortunates who bit the bullet and bought one, but at the time, I thought I looked the bees knees. Your hair had to look bang on or you can just go home. This is the sort of stuff you learn from the streets, not in school, but this was what school was like, well, for myself, back then.
Excuse my school picture!

So it was back to work today after Snowmageddon. It was nice to get back into the swing of things and just feel normal again. I like being at home but I felt like a caged animal after Saturday! One thing I kind of didn't miss -
I do look like a human being again. That's got to be a good thing.

Thank you Luke and Livvy for the nomination! I kind of like these blogger award posts, it gives me the chance to get to know bloggers I love and it also gives bloggers the chance to get to know me!
So Luke and Livvy have both set me a list of questions I need to answer! (I will just answer the one set!) Here goes:

Taking A Stroll

As you all and everybody else who follows my social media pages knows, I recently had a little weekend break in my happy place, Liverpool. It was lovely to have some quality time with my Mam, we've had a rough few months so it was nice to get on a (dirty) Arriva train and head off somewhere to get away from it all.

It was my Mam's first time up there so it was extra special for her, plus the fact she's never been on the grounds of Anfield before, let alone inside it. So yes, we took the tour and had a fabulous morning. The day we were meant to go home, I decided I needed a little walk by myself to appreciate Liverpool in all it's beauty.

6am. I'm up. Please take me back to bed. I'm sat here in my pink slippers and black leggings contemplating going back to work. But after the personal debate, I grab my car keys and head off out. It was lovely to see everyone in work, it was nice to get compliments about myself today -
I never curl my hair for work, but I curled it on the weekend and it ended up staying that way today.

Secretly, I love being underestimated.

I've gone through almost my entire life, well probably since I was a chubby little thing walking into my first day at nursery, being underestimated. To be totally honest, I don't blame people for doing that.
When I was growing up, I wouldn't say boo to a goose. I used to be so quiet that people would barely notice me in the room. I just shied away in the corner, kept my head down and listened to what others had to say rather than voice my own opinions. It wasn't very often that spoke up or said what was floating around in this little brain of mine. Or even do something out of my comfort zone.
