I love discovering new clothing brands. Especially clothing brands that fit my sense of style. Recently, RIHOAS became a new discovery and I honestly have no idea where they have been hiding! I realised that a few of my Instagram friends follow their Instagram page so I was genuinely surprised I hadn't come across them sooner!

Who is RIHOAS?

RIHOAS is a clothing brand whose inspiration comes from the legacy of European cinema. Yes, their inspiration comes from the movies! RIHOAS love the visual appeal, beauty, romance and artistry of the female in all her complexity. This is what the founders wanted to recreate in their clothing. So in 2021, RIHOAS was born!

RIHOAS constantly searches for the next pattern and enticing fabric to use when making new clothes. RIHOAS is practicing sustainability by using 20% sustainable fabric in its clothing. They are continuing to look for high-quality sustainable fabrics to use within their clothing and try to reduce waste in the production process. The effort is there and that's what matters.

What RIHOAS pieces did you pick?

I was sent two pieces of clothing to wear and style. I wanted two pieces that not only would make a great outfit but pieces that are also versatile and that can be worn with different outfits.

Firstly, I picked up this beautiful White Collared Button Up Sleeveless Shirt. This is an everyday staple and it has that chicness about it. I love that this shirt is perfect for daily wear but can also be dressed up for an evening look. When it came to sizing, I sized up as I have a bigger chest and I didn't want to see signs of gaping by the buttons. I'm so glad I did because this fits perfectly and is so flattering! This shirt is definitely going to be worn quite a lot for the remainder of Summer! The shirt is made out of 100% cotton.

Secondly, I wanted something to go with the sleeveless shirt. I eventually chose this Beige High-Waisted Cotton Button Mini Skirt. I am honestly in love with this skirt! I'm not someone to wear mini skirts as I am a little self-conscious about my legs. But this mini skirt is incredibly flattering and is a skirt I never knew I needed. This linen skirt accentuates the waist and I love the button detail on the skirt. It adds that extra level to the finished outfit. In terms of sizing, I went for my standard size. Sometimes I get nervous when ordering bottoms as I never know if they'll do up or if I'll be able to get them past my thighs! But this skirt fits like a glove and it sits on my waist nicely. There's no tightness or looseness, the skirt is a dream. The skirt has a zip on the side.

This is how the outfit looks altogether -

Let me know your thoughts on the outfit in the comments!

What are your thoughts on RIHOAS?

The quality:

The quality of the clothing is great! The shirt is slightly sheer, but nothing that a nude bra couldn't fix. The skirt is fully lined which is an extra advantage. I'm not a fan of skirts or dresses with no lining, so this is a big plus for RIHOAS. They do sell some beautiful pieces with beautiful patterns. In terms of the quality of the clothing, you do get what you pay for. Speaking of pricing...

The pricing:

The pricing is ok and you do get what you pay for in terms of quality.

Sustainability factor:

RIHOAS is aiming to work on its sustainability aspect with their clothing and production. However, there are so many clothing brands out there that need to do the same. As we all know, clothing has a major impact on climate change, so ALL clothing brands need to do their bit.

Delivery:

A slight drawback is the delivery. As it comes from abroad, it'll take a little longer than normal. But the clothing arrived in pristine condition which was great! However, I would love it if RIHOAS used less plastic packaging.

Sizing:

Now, this is where we have to play a fun game of size conversion. RIHOAS display their sizing in US sizes. So if you're ordering from the UK, you're going to need to do some math. If you're bigger-chested like me, I would most definitely size up on the tops and even the dresses. I would rather it be slightly loose than too tight. In terms of the bottoms, I was pleased with the sizing. But again, if you're unsure of what size bottoms to take, size up to be sure. It's easier to take something in on the waist than have it be too tight!

The outfit I tried on featured a light colour palette. I love this look and to enhance the overall appearance, I could a few subtle accessories such as necklaces, earrings, or *custom pin badges. Adding delicate jewellery will create a striking contrast against the light tones, making the look very elegant.

Would I buy from RIHOAS myself?

For simple, versatile pieces, I would. I hope they keep to their word by practicing more sustainability and using more sustainable fabrics in the future. I don't wear printed pieces very often, but their printed pieces are beautiful on the eye and I love the different kinds of prints they use for their clothing.

Which RIHOAS pieces would be on your wishlist?

If I were to have some RIHOAS pieces on my wishlist, the items that would be on it are:

The Blue Square Neck Floral Ruched Midi Dress - I can imagine this dress being worn for a picnic in the park or the beach. I love the blue floral pattern design and it also comes in pink too.

White Collared Lace Embroidery Cotton Blouse - This blouse would also look perfect with the skirt I already have. This is such a cute Summery style top.

Black V-Neck Tunic Midi Dress - If you're looking for the perfect office dress, this dress is for you! I love the gold button detailing and like the length of the dress too.

The V-Neck Button Waistcoat - Those who know me know how much I love a waistcoat. This one comes in four colours - Blue, Pink, Grey and Apricot (looks like Ivory to me)

Whether you're a content creator for TikTok or a blogger, the inevitable moment has happened - you feel you're running out of content ideas. If you're sitting there thinking, "Well that hasn't happened to me yet!"

1) You're fortunate
2) It'll happen babe, believe me.

Many people are under the impression that because you create content as a pastime or even a career, you must always be creative. However, sometimes our brains start tiring and start lacking creative thoughts once in a while. Creative and writing blocks are awful. You're trying to squeeze your brain to think of one last little idea, but nothing comes to fruition. It's highly frustrating and deflating as you feel you're letting yourself down. Being devoid of ideas is hard, especially if creativity is a part of your job.

However, there are methods to help you if you're stuck in a rut and want to avoid hitting that brick wall when it comes to creating content. Some may work for you, some may not. I hope these tips I'm going to suggest help you to prevent yourself from running out of content ideas.

Here are the 7 tips for never running out of content ideas:

1) Embrace it

Yes, you heard me. Embrace it. Embrace the silence. Allow your brain to breathe and relax. Stop your brain from tick-tocking for a while. The silence helps your brain to expand and let new ideas filter through. Don't stress too much over it as it'll cause your brian to run out of ideas more quickly.

2) Take a well-needed break

It's impossible to be creative all of the time. Taking a much-needed break may be the answer. I remember when I took a break from blogging a few years ago. It helped my creativity so much and my brain felt fresh and full of new ideas. You can read about that post here. Now, if you're job is centred around being creative, then it may seem impossible to just take a break. If you're concerned, talk to a trusted colleague or friend and be honest. You don't want to force content which you're not 100% happy with.

3) Find a lesson in everything

What I mean by this is that you should be aware of the little that happens during your day. If you see something that you think is valuable for your audience, share it with them. It may help pool some ideas together later on.

4) Ask your audience

It's ok, we haven't stepped into Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. But, if you're a little stuck on what content to produce or you feel you're being repetitive, ask your followers what they would like to see. Sometimes trying something different not only allows you to create a new style of content, but it also allows you to learn what your audience wants to see.

5) Write down your ideas

Sometimes when you're on a creative break, it's good to get any little idea down on paper. It's like sowing the seed for later. The ideas will eventually blossom and flourish into new content ideas.

6) Scroll less

When you're running out of content ideas, scrolling on your phone won't do you any favours. When your creative juices have run dry, scrolling through Instagram and/or TikTok could mean you start becoming too influenced by others. Remember, you don't want to start copying others to get out of a creative rut. Creative content is born out of originality. TikTok dances are the exception. It's good to be inspired, but don't be inspired enough to copy. That won't get the creative juices flowing again.

7) Read

Reading books, magazines or articles online can help with creativity. I've always found that reading items like this can help with new ideas, some I would never think of trying before. It's worth a try! Also, if you're looking to write the perfect blog post, read Eleanor's E-book *'The Art of Blog Writing'. It's the perfect E-book to read while you're stuck in a blogging slump!

Those are my 7 tips for never running out of content ideas!

It's ok if you feel you're running out of content ideas. It happens, it's better to just let nature take its course. I've been there where I've written forced content and posted a blog post I haven't been happy with. Thankfully, I've deleted those posts as I knew they weren't my best work. As I've said, doing all of these tips above can help with never running out of content ideas.

I'd love to know your thoughts on this!
