Is there a right or wrong way with fashion?

I look in the mirror at this outfit I’ve managed to pull out of my overstuffed wardrobe, and my inner self puts her fashionista glasses on, peeks over them and says, “Girl, I think you’ve got this outfit bang on today!"
Cardigan - Boutique of Molly, Jumper - ASOS, Jeans - River Island, Boots - New Look

But...some of you may look at this and think “Nah babe, not feeling it”
I like what I’m wearing, but some may not, and that’s ok. This is my point, is there a right or wrong way with how we individually style ourselves?
Everyone's own personal style is different, and that's how it should be - personal. As long as I feel confident in what I'm wearing, I can happily go out in public and not care what others think.

My style is quite eclectic. If I see something I like, I'll buy it, well, not all the time, clothes cost things called money. We all have our own individual, unique style and that shouldn’t change just because someone may not see it the way you do. I mean, you see them features in fashion and gossip magazines about something a celebrity or model is wearing and there's usually a rating of whether it is liked or not. What is the point in that?

1) You're putting the person down
2) There's no need to judge

As long as you don’t wear socks with sandals or wear a black bra underneath a tight white t shirt, you’re good to go.

Clothes are clothes, but it’s what you do with them that give you style.
I know I’ve seen what other girls are wearing and I know what they wear wouldn’t suit me e.g. anything yellow or it isn’t to my taste e.g. sheepskin coats (controversial I know). My point is - wear the clothes that YOU like and that YOU feel good in. You can't go wrong if you follow this mantra.

So the answer to the question "Is there a right or wrong way with fashion?" - No. Absolutely not! Your own personal style is the best style you can possess.

What do you think?
