A Look Back at the Third Quarter of 2024

The last time I wrote this post, what the UK called "Summer" was here and we were basking in very little sunshine and lots of rain. In the last three months, we have a new Prime Minister, a new Premier League football season has started and H&M unveiled their best Autumn/Winter line yet. As we now start to see the leaves falling from the trees and jumpers coming out of retirement, it's time for me to reflect on the previous three months.

I feel like I've blinked and Summer is a distant memory as we look ahead to Autumn and the remainder of 2024. These last three months have been pretty ok, not overly exciting, but I've been busy!

Let's look back at the third quarter of 2024:

Health

My health has been ok, with a slight blip here and there. As I said in my last quarterly review post, I was anticipatingly waiting for my results from my annual review in May. The majority of my results came back fine! However, there may be a slight issue with my kidneys, but the doctors aren't overly concerned yet, so it just needs to be monitored.

My mental health has been good over the Summer, but I'm anticipating my mood to drop a little now with the darker evenings approaching us. But I'm going to ensure that I stay on top of it and make sure I get outside as much as possible!

Career/Blogging

Blogging has been an ever-growing presence in my life as usual. I've collabed with one of my favourite clothing brands recently (read about which clothing brand here) and it was such a joy to see that email land in my inbox! I'm hoping to gain more collaborations now with Christmas approaching!

Social

I've been seeing a lot of my friends and family lately, which has been lovely! On the Bank Holiday weekend at the end of August, I went to my cousins for a big family barbecue. It was so lovely to see the whole family together for once. From playing beer pong (which I found out I'm useless at) to laughing endlessly all evening. Let's just say my head wasn't really grateful for the alcohol I consumed that night!

Personal Development

I'm continuing to write in my Manifestation Pulse gratitude journal every night. Lately, I've learned to say no a lot more to things that I don't want and things I am not happy with partaking in. For example, I've become a lot more strict about what blogging collaborations I want to complete. If it doesn't suit me or the brand is being a pain in the backside, I'm saying no and it's so freeing!

That's my summary of the last three months!

Let me know what you've been up to over the Summer!
