*There are PR items from ELEMIS within this post. Please see the end of the post for more details.
Of all the skincare brands I've promoted and reviewed, there is one brand I receive numerous questions about and have been asked my opinion on repeatedly. If you're wondering which brand I'm talking about, it's none other than ELEMIS.
Who is ELEMIS?
ELEMIS is a luxurious global British skincare brand that is committed to creating skincare products that will aid anti-ageing, eliminate wrinkles and promote collagen.
The skincare brand sells a wide range of skincare products to help with any skincare issue you currently have.
ELEMIS products are loved not just by their consumers, but by beauty experts around the globe. This is due to the effectiveness of their product formulas and their pretty (and recyclable) packaging.
However, there is one slight drawback with ELEMIS - their pricing. Their products aren't cheap and will set your bank balance back a bit. It's understandable why people are so wary of buying ELEMIS items because of their price range.
Their travel-friendly products are cheaper, but, for obvious reasons, their mini products won't last long. However, if you're unsure whether ELEMIS products will work for you, buying a mini of that product will allow you the opportunity to try it and see if it works for you without setting you back too much.
Well, think of me as your ELEMIS fairy godmother for this post. I have tried my fair share of ELEMIS products now, and I am very eager to share my review of each of them, along with their pros and cons.
Here's my review of ELEMIS skincare products I've used:
1) The Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm/Cherry Cleansing Balm
The holy grail of cleansers. This one really is a beauty. Apparently, this *cleansing balm sells every 10 SECONDS. If that doesn't tell you what you need to know, nothing will! It is honestly the most luxurious cleanser I've ever used. I tend to use it only when removing makeup, as it literally melts off any trace of makeup with just one small scoop.
After use, it leaves my skin feeling silky-soft and, well, like it's had a good cleanse. Who'd have thought?! It honestly feels like my face has had a good facial after using this cleansing balm.
This cleanser is perfumed, but I still find it gentle for my skin, and it doesn't aggravate it. Those who do have sensitive skin - you're in luck! Because ELEMIS do a fragrance-free version of this cleansing balm, 'The *Pro-Collagen Naked Cleansing Balm'.
I've also used the *Black Cherry Cleansing Balm, which smells heavenly! Again, this one doesn't agitate the skin either.
The price tag is off-putting for most. But it does last for a long while, even if you wear makeup frequently.
2) Superfood Facial Oil
I know some who are wary of using oil on their skin at the risk of their skin looking too greasy. Before I finished the bottle, I used it in my nighttime skincare routine, and it was nice to give my face that little nourishment for overnight when sleeping. I was wary of applying it during my morning skincare routine at the risk of my makeup looking too dewy.
This nine-superfood oil formula doesn't leave the skin looking or feeling greasy or shiny for me. But I totally understand why those with oily/oily-combination skin would think twice before using the *Superfood Facial Oil.
Facial oils are generally expensive skincare items, and this one is no different in terms of price range. But like the cleansing balm, it is long-lasting. A little drop goes a long way.
3) Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Pads
When I saw 'Resurfacing' on the tub, I immediately thought the pads were going to wipe a layer off my skin. However, I was wrong and somewhat judgmental. *These pads are surprisingly gentle and make my skin feel quite refreshed after use. These pads offer Tri-Enzyme technology for smoother-looking skin. The pads also help to lift dead skin cells and reduce the look of dark spots, pores and uneven skin.
I need to get into the habit of using these twice daily as recommended by ELEMIS, as they do what it says on the tin. Well, tub.
That being said, if you have incredibly sensitive skin, I'd avoid these in case they aggravate it.
4) Frangipani Monoi Salt Glow Body Scrub
I'd been looking for a good body scrub/exfoliator for a while. I never found one which really made my skin feel supple and smooth. Then along came *this body scrub. It smells divine, and when using it twice a week consistently, my skin feels incredibly soft after use.
It has a lovely texture to it and is not too harsh on the skin when rubbing it in.
As this is scented, it may not be suitable for those with sensitive skin. The price tag is a little high, but it does last a long time, and you get a lot of exfoliating scrub for your money.
5) Dynamic Resurfacing Gel Mask
This powerful cooling *gel mask is a chance for me to have that luxurious facial at home on self-care days. Using this twice a week consistently, this gel mask encourages natural cell renewal without compromising natural pH levels. This mask aims to target fine lines and uneven skin tone.
This will tingle when applying, but it's not too much of an overwhelming feeling. Just leave it on for 8-10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with warm water.
For the price, you are getting a lot for your money. But again, it's an investment.
6) Superfood Midnight Facial Overnight Cream
Oh, *this night cream is a winner. This is honestly one of the best night creams I have ever used. It feels luxurious in terms of texture, and it absorbs so well. I've woken up with glowing skin since I started using this a few months ago.
Even though it is an expensive night cream at £46, you only need a pea-sized amount at least to get the benefits. Also, you don't have to use this every night; a minimum use of twice a week is enough for this night cream to do its magic.
7) Superfood Glow Priming Moisturiser
*This silicone-free moisturiser is the perfect moisturiser if you're after a dewy, radiant look. It's perfect for non-makeup days as it gives a lovely, illuminating glow. Not only is this a moisturiser, but you can also use it as a highlighter! I love that this moisturiser gives enough coverage without feeling like you're bare-skinned.
It is quite a small bottle, and it's a nightmare to squeeze when it gets below the halfway point in the bottle!
8) Pro-Collagen Marine Cream
It's easy to see why this *day cream has over 3,500 5-star reviews on ELEMIS's website. It does leave the skin feeling hydrated and soft after use. BUT - I would definitely say that there are cheaper moisturisers out there than this one. I am a firm believer that you do not need to spend an awful lot of money on moisturisers to reap the benefits.
The marine cream's formula of algae Padina Pavonica, Chlorella and Gingko Biloba certainly give this cream its luxury and price tag.
I can safely say that my skin feels so soft, luxurious and has a glowy complexion after applying.
But the price tag of £95 is a drawback for me. As much as I love it, I wouldn't buy this frequently. My bank account would laugh in my face if I did!
9) Pro-Collagen Eye Revive Mask
I'm always looking for creams and treatments to treat the dark circles under my eyes. This *eye revive mask from ELEMIS is definitely one cream that has worked wonders for my undereyes and eye contours. This is one ELEMIS product where I've really noticed a difference in my overall eye appearance.
One great aspect of this eye revive mask is that you only need to use it a minimum of 3 times a week to see results. You also have the option of using it daily if your eyes need a lot of TLC. I use this at night 3 times a week and it's worked wonders for me already!
Even though it's a 15ml tub, it'll last you a hell of a long time.
10) Pro-Collagen Skin Protection Fluid SPF 50+
I'm always telling people to wear SPF daily; it's so important to do so, even during colder months. This *SPF 50+ cream is very hydrating, absorbs well and has a non-greasy formula. I have found this is the perfect base before I apply my primer and makeup. It also doesn't leave a white cast on the skin after application, which is a huge bonus in my book.
It is on the expensive side for an SPF, but it's worth the investment for that extra protection and non-greasy formula. Whether I'll buy it for myself when it runs out is another matter; there are other SPFs on the market for a much cheaper price that do just as good a job.
This SPF is also really good for those with sensitive skin.

What a skincare haul, my friend! Congrats on being accepted to their program and scoring these goodies, I loved reading your thoughts on each of them. That cleansing balm minus the perfume sounds incredible, and I can't believe one sells every 10 seconds, that's incredible!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful August!! :)
Make Life Marvelous
I love the superfoods oil, o have noticed a real improvement on my skins appearance after using it for a few months. I don’t like the marine cream. I think that it is too thick for my oily skin. I will retry the cleansers as I am on the hunt for a new one
DeleteThe non-perfumed cleansing balm is perfect for those who have sensitive skin Ashley! x
DeleteElemis is one of my all-time favourite skincare brands. I often go to their therapists for facials because their products compliment my skin so well!

DeleteElemis is a very expensive brand in Malaysia. In fact, it's one of the most expensive beauty brand here. Only rich people can afford it. But it's true that this brand is good. Kudos to the R&D team.
