INTIMINA Balmy: A Review Of The Intimate Moisturising Cream

*There are PR items from INTIMINA in this post. Please see the end of the post for more details.

It's important to take care of our whole body, even the most intimate of areas. We practice skincare on our face and body, but some may not think about intimate areas. That's something I've never really thought about in the past. Nowadays, intimate care products are popular in the skincare market. Whether that be a vaginal moisturiser or an intimate moisturising cream - they're on sale in any beauty store. Today, I'll be talking about this one - the INTIMINA Balmy. This post is going to be an INTIMINA Balmy review.

So, what is the INTIMINA Balmy?

Balmy is a soothing, vaginal moisturiser for the external vaginal area. It's recommended by gynaecologists for its intimate hydration and moisture. The intimate moisturising cream is formulated with hyaluronic acid, squalane and enriching oils. This aids in moisturising and soothing the external genital area. This cream is ideal for dryness or itching after shaving/waxing also.

How do I use the Balmy?

To use the INTIMINA Balmy, you just need to apply a small amount of the external moisturiser onto the genital area. The one advantage of the Balmy is that you can apply it to the genital area as many times a day as you need.

What are your thoughts on the Balmy?

This vaginal lotion is fantastic. It really helps the vaginal area to feel more moisturised and using something like this makes me feel more empowered. I like that this product uses active ingredients of plant origin that help to restore comfort. As I said before, it's important to take care of all of our bodies, not just the areas everyone can see. The Balmy is good if the skin in your intimate area is sensitive, which is definitely an advantage of this vaginal lube.

One thing I did want to discuss with this post is the importance of intimate care. Intimate care may be seen as an embarrassing conversation to discuss. But it doesn't have to be. Intimate hygiene is important to help prevent infections in the vaginal area and promotes healthy sexual activity. Practicing intimate care also helps to find the right balance for the pH level.

Finding a healthy skincare routine will give you a good quality of life. If you don't feel good 'down there', how are you going to feel when you're around your partner when you're sexually active? If you're wondering about how to introduce intimate care to your routine, try using them in the bath/shower first. It's good that you cleanse out the harmful bacteria and replace them with the good bacteria (yes, there is a good kinds of bacteria).

When it comes to intimate care, there is nothing to be ashamed of.

It's vital that I raise awareness on this topic to lift the stigma. The stigma of talking about intimate care and hygiene should not be happening today. It's important to talk about this, whether that be with a close friend or a medical professional. Basically, anyone you can trust and confide in.

In conclusion, I hope this post inspires you to practice intimate care. Above all, allow the Balmy to be your first intimate care product! It will be worth it, I promise!

  6. This sounds great to use after shaving/waxing. My go-to aftercare moisturiser has been discontinued from Superdrug and Amazon don’t always have it in stock so I might give the INTIMINA Balmy a try soon! x

  11. This sounds great! I've never thought about using an intimate moisturizer, but it makes total sense. I like how they included squalene, it's one of my favorite ingredients in skincare.
