Personal Planner: A Review of the Personalised Planner Brand

It's no secret that I love a planner. With so much life admin to complete, a planner is a much-needed accessory. However, some planners don't provide all the life admin tasks you'd like to keep track of. This is where the brand Personal Planner comes in.

Who is Personal Planner?

Personal Planner is a Swedish brand that specialises in allowing you to create the most personalised of planners to suit your admin needs and organisational needs too. The stationary brand allows you to create a personalised planner from scratch and allows you to add different pages that allow you to stay on track of all aspects of life. No two personal planners are the same with Personal Planner!

Does Personal Planner sell anything else besides planners?

Personal Planner also sells notebooks, custom stickers, wall planners and stationery such as sticky notes, pens, pencil cases and planner cases.

Tell us about the design process on Personal Planner?

Designing your planner is super easy. It is a slightly long process as there are so many design decisions to make when creating your personalised planner. Here are the steps to creating your personalised planner -

1) Designing the front and back cover - this includes choosing the spiral colour and cover text. Personal Planner has a wide range of cover photos to choose from or you can upload your front cover. 

2) Language and date range - choosing your native language and the country you're from. Personal Planner will include your country's National Holidays within the calendar. You can then choose the date range of where you want your planner to start and finish. You also have the option to include monthly overviews.

3) Inlay design, weekly layout, writing space - like the front cover, you can choose what you what your inlay design to look like from a range of photos. You then choose how you want the weekly layout to look like. You can customise the writing space by choosing a colour background of your choice. In this section, you also have the option to include a ruler marker if you wish.

4) Daily details and modules - 'Daily Details' means choosing whether you'd like to include these three things for each day - a mini weather chart, a small workout log and/or a work log. You can choose if you want a timetable included on each day too.

Then this is where it gets creative and a little exciting! You can choose three modules to go on the bottom of each weekly page. As you can see from my planner, I included a 'Best and Worst', where I write about the good and bad things from the week. Then I chose to have weekly quotes on each page. Lastly, I included just some straight lines on the second page. You can choose from a variety of different modules, including a meal planner and a mini picture to colour in!

5) Personal dates - Personal Planner will add any personal dates to your new planner for you!

6) Themed pages - now this is where it gets REALLY fun! There is a vast range of themed pages to add to your planner after your calendar! Here are some of the pages you can include:

• Year overviews
• Cleaning schedules
• Health and mental health goals
• Different list layouts
• Trackers including movies and habits
• Budget planners
• Student and teacher planning pages
• Gratitude journal page
• Sudokus and colouring pages!
• Garden to-do lists

7) Owner's page - write your message for when you open the planner.

8) Add a planner case to your order - you have the option to add a planner case to your new personalised planner should you wish.

Honestly, you will have a field day creating this planner!

I really enjoyed the process of designing my planner on Personal Planner! Some may not find it so satisfying, but I sure did!

One word - absolutely! I couldn't believe how amazing it was when I opened it! You can see that the brand takes great care and pays attention to every detail when creating its products. I have this planner ready for the start of 2025 (early I know) but I know this planner will be my biggest accessory in my life next year and I cannot wait to start using it properly!
