Green People Natural Skincare: A Honest Review

Natural skincare is the way to go these days guys. I edge more toward buying cruelty-free skincare products these days. And to be honest, my skin feels so good using items which are sustainable and CF. So when Green People reached out to me, after reading that they were a CF brand, I had to try their products!

Green People skincare products (moisturiser and micellar water)

I'll be honest, I hadn't heard of Green People as a brand before, so I did a little light reading about their brand and their ethos. The company was started by Charlotte Vøhtz's inspiration to start a skincare company when her daughter had multiple skin allergies and eczema. Green People was then founded in 1997, and the brand has built an incredible following.

So, I got sent a couple of products from the Green People Nordic range to try - The Nordic Roots Cranberry Micellar Foam and The Nordic Roots Apple Complex Moisturiser

Both products I was really excited to try. The packaging of the products is so minimalistic and sleek. I like packaging that is minimalistic and non-fussy, I like that it focuses more on the product!

Anyway, the first product I tried first was the micellar foam. The micellar foam is a natural, foaming face wash with micellar cleansing action to aid in clear skin. The best time to use this product for me personally was at night, particularly after wearing makeup all day. The foam is suitable for all skin types and is concentrated with antioxidant-rich cranberry extracts. The foam was incredibly refreshing and made my skin feel ever so hydrated after use. All I will say is that you need to have two decent-sized pumps to get the most out of it. I would definitely recommend this product after taking off your makeup.

The second and last product to try was the moisturiser. This moisturiser aims to hydrate, restore, protect and balance the skin. One thing I did love about this moisturiser is that it's scent-free. Sometimes scented moisturiser can aggravate the skin. The moisturiser contains Juicy Apple Cellular Water which helps to boost the skin's elasticity and give it a natural glow. Again, this product is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive. This moisturiser really did add a glow to my skin after using it for a few days. The Green People moisturiser really did feel incredibly lightweight and left my skin feeling super soft afterwards! The only little snag I would say is that it doesn't have SPF protection in the moisturiser. However, Green People do sell moisturisers with SPF in them, so it's not all bad!

Ok, so out of the two, I would say the moisturiser just sneaks it as being my favourite. But I absolutely love both products and I would highly recommend both! I would definitely also recommend Green People as a brand. Not only do they sell skincare products, but they also sell hair care, body, sun, wellbeing, makeup, anti-ageing and so much more.

I'd love to know your thoughts on the Green People review!

  4. I really like the sound of the foam cleanser! My skin is a bit iffy when it comes to products containing apple for some reason so I probably wouldn’t pick up the moisturiser just for that reason x

  9. Ooo I’m loving the sound of this brand and why it was founded! I think natural skincare will be so hyped in a couple of years. I love that it’s scent free as my skin reacts to anything that has the slightest scent to it. I’m defiantly going to look into this, thank you so much for sharing such an amazing, in-depth review lovely! Xo
