FOREO UFO 2: My Review

Prior to 2020 (I know it's 2021, but I'm backtracking here), face masks (the beauty ones, not the ones we wear to go into shops) were never really a part of my skincare routine. Purely because I just didn't have the time to incorporate it into my skincare routine and I just never really saw the point in them.

Nowadays, whether they're a sheet or clay mask, you can't get me away from them! I love doing a weekly or twice weekly face mask now. It's benefitted my skin so much and I can now definitely see the hype that others have been talking about. 

As I have been looking for new face masks to try, when FOREO reached out to me about their UFO 2 device and their masks, I couldn't say no. More face masks to try and a new device to apply them with. The UFO 2 device is supercharged two-minute facial with LED therapy, T-sonic pulsations and Thermo-therapy to make the facial mask experience so unique. It's like having a professional facial at home!

The UFO 2 is very simple to use. First things first, you need to download the FOREO app so you can connect and pair the device to the app via Bluetooth. Once you pair the device with the app, grab a FOREO UFO 2 mask (you can't use a normal face mask with this device) and attach the circular mask to the device. You do this by removing the attachment ring, placing the mask on top of the device then securing it with the attachment ring. Now the mask is in place, it's time to get on the app, select the mask which you have placed on the device and follow the instructions on screen. The app will tell you to gently guide the UFO 2 across your clean face and allow the device do its magic. Once the full facial treatment is complete, remove the mask from the device, throw away and clean the device. So simple, a beauty spa treatment in the palm of your hand which only takes two minutes! 

The UFO 2 Power activated masks are amazing. There are so much variety and all suited for your skin's facial needs. The masks all contain safe and natural ingredients, which is such a bonus to me. After trying each of the face masks I got sent, I felt such a difference after each one. The red LED light therapy really helps the mask sink into the skin and to have that at home facial has been so good. It does genuinely feel like having a professional spa facial at home!

Other aspects of the device that I love are that the device is rechargeable, which means no looking for pesky batteries under the stairs! The device is waterproof so there's no need to worry when washing the device after use. The power face mask device is tailored to your own skincare and you can create a personalised treatment within the app. It's so clever!

My verdict on the FOREO UFO 2 is that it's a device that I will use for a long time to come. Face masks have become a lot more quick, fun and, more importantly, effective.
