Preparing my Autumn Wardrobe with OGL + Brand Review

*This post is a paid collaboration with OGL. Please see the end of the post for more details.

There is something quite lovely and comforting about Autumnal clothing. After a warm Summer, it feels lovely to finally wear cosy clothes and get into those Autumn rituals we've all craved while baking in the overly hot weather. I'm one of those people who shops for Autumn clothes around mid-August. One other thing I like is looking for brands that sell great-quality Autumn-style clothes. Allow me to introduce you to OGL.

An green OGL clothing tag.

Firstly, who is OGL?

OGL (Ongoing, Gratitude and Love) is a brand that is built around comfort, bringing together an effortless, refined style along with versatility. Their pieces are designed to be worn repeatedly and for the long term. The brand's aim is for every woman to feel truly at ease within themselves when wearing their clothing. They want women to feel grounded, assured and composed, whatever the day may bring.

The brand creates clothing that not only has a flattering design and polished style, but also clothing that provides comfort, balance and versatility.

Through the Comfort Community, OGL also hope to connect with people with like-minded views and those who share their belief in a more considered lifestyle.

Is OGL a sustainable brand?

OGL is a B-Corp certified brand. B-Corp certified means a brand has been awarded certification for meeting rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency.

OGL is also a member of '1% For The Planet', which means that the brand donates 1% of its annual revenue to ensure it has a positive impact on our planet and environment. The brand organises different events such as beach cleanups and also offers a recycling program for unwanted clothes.

The packaging that I received with the items was in completely recyclable brown paper bags.

Let me tell you more about the clothing pieces I received from OGL:

I wanted clothes that are perfect for the Autumn transition and clothes that will take me nicely into Autumn as the temperatures get cooler. I think I've picked up some perfect items that are ideal for the transitional Autumn period:

1) The OGL Essential V-neck Wide Binding Slimming Bra Top

If you're looking for that basic yet versatile knit top that goes with everything, this top is the one for you. This *knit top, with a 4-way stretch, is a lovely off-white colour, perfect for throwing on a blazer or trench over, or even on its own with your favourite pair of jeans.

Now, the built-in bra feature...I won't lie, I was slightly nervous choosing to have this top as I am bigger-chested; built-in bra tops don't really offer the support I need. But this one has changed everything - this actually offers the best support! Even better, if you're not a fan of padding, there are removable pads. For my breasts' sake, the pads will be staying put! To be honest, you wouldn't be able to tell this top has a built-in bra when wearing it, which is an added bonus.

This top is very slimming, lightweight, breathable and soft to the touch. I cannot wait to wear this during the Autumn months!

2) The OGL Turtle High Neck Split Hem Tank Top and High Waisted Straight Leg Pull On Pants

The first co-ord set I'll be discussing is this gorgeous high-neck top with matching straight-leg trousers.

The *high-neck top is made of a fabric called FuzzLuxe Scuba, which has stretching qualities and is super soft, warm and durable. The turtleneck collar can be easily folded so it's not directly under your chin. This top feels warm when worn, but it's not oppressive enough that you can't wear it in milder temperatures. I love how versatile this top is; it can be worn with an everyday outfit or for the office. For me, I adore wearing it with the matching straight-leg trousers.

The high-rise, straight-leg *trousers, again made from the above fabric, are super stretchy and are so comfortable to lounge around in. With an elasticated waist and pockets, these are THE perfect trousers for the transitional Autumn season. Whether I wear them with the matching top for a chic office look or with a white long-sleeved tee for a more casual outfit, these trousers will definitely be my Autumn wardrobe staple!

Both come in a variety of colours; I have these in the colour 'Heather Morganite'.

3) The OGL Eco-Mousse Boatneck Elbow Sleeve Bra Top

Another built-in bra top in my selections. This *elbow sleeve bra top, again, has removable padding for those who'd prefer to wear the top without. But, like the first top I spoke about, the padding is staying put!

Like the first top also, this one is made from a fabric called Eco-Mousse Thermal Rib, providing lightweight warmth and resilient shape retention. The fabric is breathable, soft to the touch and has a 4-way stretch.

This top in colour 'Materica' (a khaki shade) is the ideal knit top to take with me into the Autumn transition. It can be paired with your favourite work trousers or skirt or dressed casually with a pair of jeans.

4) The OGL 2Pcs Set V-Neck Elbow Sleeve Top & High-Rise Wide Leg Pants with Pockets

If you're looking for a brown co-ord for Autumn, look no further. This gorgeous *2-piece co-ord is honestly THE perfect outfit for the upcoming Autumn. You can choose a different size for each item. In my case, I chose a size M top and size S bottoms, or you can buy them separately.

Both items are made from a fabric called Modal Spacer Knit. The double-knit fabric has peach-fuzz softness and a velvety matte surface. The breathable fabric has a 4-way stretch and is wrinkle-resistant - no ironing required! That's got to be a win, surely?!

The top is V-neck, but not plunging, which is great. The sleeves go to the elbow, and the top sits nicely on the hip.

The bottoms have an elasticated waist, belt loops and slanted pockets.

This set is in colour 'Deepest Mauve'.

I hope you love these OGL items as much as I do!

I cannot wait to start wearing these items for the Autumn days that are on the horizon.

Let me delve into OGL as an overall brand:

Sizing
The sizing is pretty much spot on for me. There is a size chart on every product page, and it's easy to convert. Measure yourself if you're unsure, especially for the fitted tops.

Pricing
Pricing is on the slightly more expensive side, but for what you pay, you get the most fantastic quality clothing. Speaking of quality...

Quality
The quality of these items is nothing short of impressive. The individual fabrics that are used to produce each item are of amazing quality. All fabrics are super soft, durable, versatile and comfortable. I love how each product page gives a full, in-depth description of the fabric the item is made from.

Delivery & Returns
For delivery, OGL ships to many countries worldwide. For the UK, standard shipping costs $8.99 and orders over $69 are free. Shipping takes 7-12 business days.

For returns, customers are responsible for return costs, except for defective items. To return an item, simply go to OGL's website and follow the instructions in the 'My Orders' section of your account.

To sum up OGL:

OGL really is a brilliant clothing brand! The quality of their clothing is fantastic - it's super comfortable, stylish, chic and versatile. For the price, you are certainly getting your money's worth in terms of quality. From the pieces I received from the brand, I'm genuinely satisfied with the overall quality and design.

The sizing is pretty accurate from my perspective. All of the items fit me well, and the trousers in particular have a lovely flow about them. They sit well on the waist, and the length is perfect.

I know the prices are high-end, but for the quality you get, it's definitely worth the money!

I'd definitely recommend OGL and their clothing to anyone who is thinking of buying pieces that not only feel and look chic and versatile, but are also extremely comfortable to wear.

I'd love to know your thoughts on OGL!
