ZIIP Dot: My Honest Review of the World's First Microcurrent Acne Device

Now, let's move on to the ZIIP Dot.

Firstly, what is the ZIIP Dot?

The ZIIP Dot is a high-tech zit zapper which has Microcurrents and Nanocurrents to help rid of breakouts and spots. The ZIIP Dot is the world's first Microcurrent spot device, so this is huge for the skincare and beauty industry!

What is the difference between Microcurrents and Nanocurrents in this device? 

The Microcurrent boosts the skin's energy and speeds up cell repair, and accelerates the healing of blemishes. It also reduces inflammation, swelling and the bacteria that cause blemishes. This then helps clear breakouts faster.

The Nanocurrent sparks cell renewal and repair, helping to calm the skin and promote healing post-breakout.

How do I use the ZIIP Dot?

Using the ZIIP Dot is very easy! Here's how to use it:

1) Make sure your face or the area you're going to use the device is clean.

2) Apply 2-3 pumps of the clear gel to the area you want to treat.

3) For a 90-second treatment, press the power button to turn on. It will light up and beep when it's ready.

4) The device will start in 'TREAT' mode to treat blemishes.

5) Place the electrodes (silver parts of the device) onto the skin. Twist the device clockwise and counterclockwise while ensuring full skin contact.

6) Make sure the electrode behind the ZIIP logo is in contact with the spot - you'll feel a tingle when the device has found it!

7) After 60 seconds, the device automatically switches to 'CALM' mode to soothe the skin.

8) The device will turn off automatically once treatment has finished.

9) Wipe the device with a dry cloth. 

10) Cleanse your face after use.

If you're doing a full face treatment:

1) Apply the gel to your face and long-press the power button to turn on. 

2) Move the device around your face for 6 minutes.

3) 'TREAT' mode lasts 4 minutes and 'CALM' mode lasts 2 minutes.

Do I need to use the conductive gel when using the ZIIP Dot?

Yes. It's essential to use the conductive gel that comes with your blemish device. The conductive gel protects the skin whilst enabling waveforms to pass effortlessly from the anti-blemish device through the skin. Also, the gel improves skincare absorption by up to 120%. I'm fortunate enough to not get too many spots and blemishes. Coincidentally, I did notice a new spot on my jawline (which is where I usually have spots when they make an appearance). I kid you not, after 2 treatments with the ZIIP Dot, the spot disappeared! Here's the proof below!

From what I've seen so far, I'm blown away by the ZIIP Dot! I can't believe how quickly it diminished the spot on my face after two uses! If you suffer from acne, this zit-zapping device is perfect for you! I truly think this spot treatment device is an absolute game-changer for acne sufferers and even those who just get the odd spot or blemish here or there.

When using the device, there is a slight tingling sensation, but I know that means the device is working as it should. 

I love that the ZIIP Dot is palm-sized - it means it's great for on the go and for travelling! I like that the Dot comes in four different colours, which include:
