Estrid Razor: A Review

As a blogger, surely at some point during the first lockdown you came across Estrid on your Instagram. In a variety of colours, Estrid is the most talked about razor on social media right now.

Now I'm somebody who shaves my legs all year round. I don't like having hairy legs in the winter, or, in honesty, at all. I prefer shaving my legs to waxing them as it's painless (unless you knick your skin, especially on the knees or ankle area!) and much quicker, lather your legs in soap, shave, and bang, you're done.

Estrid reached out to me quite a while ago about sending a razor to me and I jumped at the chance. I love everything that Estrid stands for. Their ethos is incredible and they have the firm belief that shaving should be choice and promote that. Here are some questions that you may be wondering about Estrid and their fabulous razor:

WHAT  IS  ESTRID?
Estrid is a subscription razor based brand which promote that shaving should be a choice.

WHAT  MAKES  ESTRID  STAND  OUT?
Estrid are a brand are a cruelty free brand and have made a razor specifically for women. Men's razors get promoted on the market a lot and they believe that women's razor's offer the same value. Estrid's razor is a five blade one which is great for a really close shave (sorry for the shaving cliché there). Plus the razors come in a variety of beautiful colours, so you will be stuck for choice!

HOW  IS  ESTRID  VEGAN?
Estrid believe that animal products should not be a part of the making process of the razor. The hydrating strips are not made of any animal products whatsoever. The razor itself contains aloe vera and Vitamin E to help nourish the skin and give that real smooth feel after shaving. Also no tests of the razor have been performed on animals for testing.

ARE  ESTRID  RAZORS  RECYCLABLE?
The packaging of Estrid is recyclable. The razor itself is made of durable steel which will make the razor last longer than a standard one.

HOW  MUCH  DOES  AN  ESTRID  RAZOR  COST?
For a starter pack, it is £7.95. With the starter kit, you will get a razor, two replacement cartridges and a wall holder to put your razor on after use in the bathroom!

HOW  DOES  THE  SUBSCRIPTION  SERVICE  WORK?
For a subscription, it is £9.95 every 90 days. The one great thing about the subscription is that you can cancel anytime and there will be no cancellation fees. You can select the type of subscription you want - monthly, every over month or every three months. All dependant on how often you shave!

IS  ESTRID  WORTH  IT?
I adore my Estrid razor! I don't know how I've lasted this long without one! The smoothness I feel after using it is UNREAL. I won't use another razor again now, I'm a converted Estrid user! I would highly recommend buying one and I promise you, you'll love it!

Like I said, I honestly love my Estrid razor and I won't use any other razor for shaving now. Estrid has definitely changed the shaving game!

Let me know if you have used the Estrid razor or if you have any questions which I haven't mentioned!

  4. Right...teach me your ways of shaving. Honestly I'm totally so lazy and only do it when I'm going out/can actually be arsed haha! It's a very pretty razor and I like that the packaging is recyclable and will last longer than your standard plastic ones! xx

  12. I've seen Estrid razors a few times now and I really need to try them, they sound great and I love that they've made an effort to make them vegan. I typically prefer waxing because it lasts the longest and my skin is really sensitive to hair removal, but I end up shaving the majority of the time anyway because I'm too lazy/ forget to arrange a wax 😂 x
