Firstly, what type of clothing brand is Commense?
Commense is a brand that sells clothing that sells luxury, high-end look clothing at a lower price. Think of the timeless pieces you see at fashion week or high-end pieces you see on popular content creators but at a cheaper price.
Commense offers contemporary womenswear alongside elevated essentials. Think of timeless, modern and tailored pieces with an unexpected edge.
Let's go through the pieces that I chose from Commense:
1) Burgundy Jumper
Burgundy has been THE colour of Autumn 2024. I've been looking high and low for the perfect burgundy-style jumper and I think I found the perfect one with this beauty! I have not stopped wearing this jumper and have styled it with many different outfits. It's so comfy and chic and looks good tucked in or out of bottoms. This jumper also comes in colours blue, white, black, cream and light blue.
2) Chocolate Brown Jumper
Another colour that has been filling my social media feeds lately - chocolate brown. This is why I had to get this gorgeous chocolate brown knitted jumper. I've worn this jumper a lot with my brown Adidas Sambas, the colour just matches them brilliantly. Definitely, a jumper I can wear for a good few Autumn seasons ahead. This jumper also comes in beige.
3) The Beige Coat
I do love a coat, ask anyone. That and bags. This coat is perfect for Autumn and Winter. It can be styled with many outfits and it elevates any Autumn/Winter look. This is one piece I have had a lot of compliments about when I've worn it out and about. This coat also comes in colours grey, black and khaki.
4) The Burgundy Bag
Burgundy is one of my favourite colours, so seeing as I got the jumper, I had to get a matching bag! This bag has an adjustable strap and gold magnetic clasps and I love the croc-style patent pattern. It's a bag most definitely suited for Autumn!
Let's do a little run down of Commense clothing:
Sizing
I've found Commense's sizing to be pretty accurate. For the jumpers and coat, I ordered a size M and they fitted me perfectly. Commense uses lettered sizing (XS-2XL). However, a size converter is to hand on each product page for you to convert to UK, EU or US sizing. As someone who is bigger-chested and bigger-armed, the sizes are fine for me. The coat does up quite easily with no signs of gaping or tightness on the arms.
Quality
The quality is definitely there, the jumpers in particular are of excellent quality. Obviously, if the quality remains after being worn and washed remains to be seen, but so far, I'm more than satisfied with the quality of the items. The coat is quite thick in material, it has kept me warm on colder days. The bag's quality is something I'm pleased with also.
Sustainability
Commense state that they are committed to a greener future. They say that they can't eliminate packaging, but they are making sustainable, smarter choices when it comes to the packaging they use. Commense also say that they use considered fabrics and use the highest level of ethics when it comes to manufacturing and sourcing.
Pricing
The pricing varies quite differently between different items, I would say think Zara or Mango in terms of pricing.
Delivery and Returns
The delivery of my parcel took a while, it took nearly 14 days. For example, for shipping to the UK -
1) Standard Shipping costs $5.99 and the parcel will arrive within 9-16 business days.
2) Express Shipping costs $12.99 and the parcel will arrive within 5-11 business days.
As for returns, there's a whole page about and it does go into a lot of detail of what classes and doesn't class as a valid reason for returning a product. Hmm.
What is your overall view of Commense clothing?
Overall, I am very happy with the items I received from Commense! The quality is great, and the items are pretty much accurate in terms of what they look like online. The only thing I would say is that I would like the brand to show more inclusivity and diversity in terms of the models they model the clothing on.
The pricing is pretty standard to what you'd pay these days, the items are of excellent quality so it's definitely worth the money! I would definitely like to buy more clothing from the brand in the future. I already have a wishlist!
