Vieve: An Honest Review of the Makeup Products I've Used

My biggest love is trying new skincare products. In close second place is trying new makeup products and/or brands. Whether it's a brand I already love or a brand that I've never tried anything from before, I find it so much fun trying new things! In early 2025, I got the opportunity to try a makeup brand that's been on my wishlist for a while - Vieve.

Now, I know that Vieve has been around for a while now, but it's a brand I only started trying in mid-late 2025. It's a brand widely used by many celebs and content creators, so when Vieve sent me some products to try, there was no way I was going to pass up that chance of trying their makeup!

Firstly, who is Vieve?

Vieve is a beauty and makeup brand founded by Jamie Genevieve. The brand sells a wide range of PETA-approved beauty and makeup products. 

Here's a review of the Vieve products I've tried:

1) Vieve Skin Nova

If you're looking for something to give your skin that extra glow with or without makeup, the *Skin Nova is the product for you. This makeup primer contains ingredients that hydrate, prime, and illuminate the skin. You can apply this before your foundation, or, if you're having a no-makeup day, it gives your skin a lovely glow. This multi-tasking primer contains Beta-Glucan and Niacinamide and is suitable for all skin types.

I love this primer on non-makeup days. It gives my skin that lovely glow without it looking too illuminated. I prefer to use this for non-makeup days rather than wearing it under my foundation, but that's just personal preference.

2) Vieve Modern Lip Definer and Matte Lipstick in Shade Brat

I thought I'd tie these two in together as I've got both in the same shade.

The *Modern Lip Definer is an absolute game-changer for lip liners. This lip liner in particular has a lovely creaminess and glides on my lips so effortlessly. This shade has a slightly darker edge, but I love it and generally use it for an evening look.

The *Matte Lipstick is enriched with lip-loving ingredients such as Vitamin E. So it comes as no surprise that the formula provides nourishment and moisturisation to the lips. It is described as having a matte finish. However, it does have a subtle gloss, not very noticeable, but still there. Most importantly, it lasts for the majority of the day, which is a huge plus!

Both come in a variety of shades to choose from, so you can mix and match between the liner and the lipstick!

3) Vieve Modern Radiance Concealer

This hyaluronic acid-infused *Modern Radiance Concealer does exactly what it says on the bottle. It brightens the undereyes and colour corrects the skin to give a naturally perfected, radiant finish. I've always struggled to find the perfect concealer. But I can safely say that this one works wonders. 

I even like to use this on non-makeup days just to make me look less tired! It lasts for most of the day, and I never really need to top it up. It's easy to apply, it blends in well, and gives amazing coverage.

It's safe to say it's going to remain a staple in my makeup bag for the foreseeable future!

4) Vieve Sunset Blush Balm in Shade Rosa

When it comes to blush, I tend to opt for powder rather than liquid. But since using this blush, I've fully converted to liquid blush. The *Sunset Blush Balm is enriched with skin-loving ingredients like Vitamin C & E and has a luminous, buildable formula. This adds a gorgeous shade to my cheekbones, and I absolutely adore the shade I am using, Rosa. It really does give a sun-kissed look throughout the seasons. 

As it's buildable, you can add as little as you want, so one tube definitely goes a long way. This buildable blush comes in four other shades.

5) Vieve Eye Wand in Shade Smoke

I'm so used to using eyeshadow palettes and powder eyeshadow on my eyes that I've never considered trying an eyeshadow stick. This *Eye Wand colours, contours and defines the eyelids, giving amazing colour and coverage. It's smooth, blendable and easy to apply. 

It has a lovely creamy formula and blends in easily. Sometimes I've used this as eyeshadow, and other days, I've used it as an eyeliner. I would say that I need to hold the lid to ensure perfect application (if that makes sense), but all in all, I'm really pleased with it. I'm eager to try one (or more) of the other shades on offer!

6) Vieve Lip Dew in Shade Socialite

The *Lip Dew offers a high-shine finish like a lip gloss. It has nourishing ingredients like Vitamin E and Camellia oil, so the lips won't dry out. One aspect of this lip gloss is that you can wear it alone or layer it over your favourite lipstick to add that glossy finish. 

I use it on its own as a base lip product. I love that the Lip Dew offers a non-sticky formula, so the lips stay hydrated during wear. This item also comes in nine other shades. 

So these are the Vieve makeup products I've used so far!

If I do end up buying any new Vieve products, I will certainly add to this review! As far as makeup goes, Vieve offers quality makeup products, and I can see why it gets top-notch reviews on its website. Their packaging is a minimalist's dream. I anticipate what Vieve will release next, and I'm sure I'll be at the front of the queue to try the next new thing!
