I've been an avid user of PMD products since I first reviewed the PMD Clean all those years ago. Fast forward to today, the PMD Clean has had a little refurb and as well as the PMD Clean, you can now purchase this - the PMD Clean Acne. A 2 in 1 device for not only cleansing but a device to help treat mild to moderate acne.

As those of you may already know, I'm very on it when it comes to my skincare routine. I never skip my routine, but morning and night. Once my skin is cleansed, I feel so fresh and, well, clean. Using a cleansing device within my skincare routine has really upgraded it, and there are so many benefits to using a cleansing device within your skincare routine, including the PMD Clean Acne.

What is the PMD Clean Acne?

The PMD Clean Acne is a smart facial cleansing device that uses SonicGlow technology ensuring a deep, daily cleanse. The device also uses blue light therapy treatment to treat mild to moderate acne.

How do I use the PMD Clean Acne?

To use the cleansing side of the device, there are two modes. Mode 1 is a gentle vibration and Mode 2 is a more intense vibration. After rinsing the cleanser under water, apply your preferred cleanser (a gel one works best) to the device after dampening your face with water and allow the device to do its magic. Make sure to move the device in circular motions.

To use the Blue Light Therapy, turn the device over, press the button and apply it to any acne you have. The device will vibrate to signify the beginning of the 3-minute treatment
. This treatment is safe to use daily.

What are the benefits of using this device?

There are plenty of benefits to using this facial cleansing device on your skin. They are:

  • Eliminates acne daily
  • Helps to diminish blackheads
  • Helps to decrease blemishes
  • Reduce future breakouts
  • Reduces the appearance of pores
  • Helps the skin to achieve a glowy look
  • Helps to achieve lift, firm and tone the skin

The device is made from ultra-hygienic silicone which is odour-resistant, antibacterial, hypoallergenic and waterproof.

Is there any other info I need to know about the PMD Clean Acne?

The device comes with a charger, a storage case, eye protection goggles and a 1-year warranty. The device will need to be charged before first use. The box the device comes in also has an instruction manual with clear instructions on how to use the device. The price of the device is £209.

What are your thoughts on the PMD Clean Acne?

As far as cleansing devices go, this one is top-tier. After using the cleansing side of the device, my skin really does feel so refreshed and toned afterwards. My skin feels so clear and even has a nice glow to it after using the device.

In regards to the Blue Light therapy, I haven't had much use of it yet as I haven't had any recent bouts of acne (touch wood!). But from what I can see from the reviews from other users, it certainly has had a positive impact on users' skin and their acne, which I see as positive. This device is perfect for anyone who suffers from acne and needs a device which can eliminate that.

One thing I will say is that to get the maximum results of using the PMD Clean Acne, you need to use it daily and be consistent.

Overall, I would highly recommend the PMD Clean Acne as a really great facial cleansing device!

  1. Interesting tool for helping with acne. I'm so lazy when it comes to skincare - bit of gel moisture stuff in the morning, occasional facial wash in the shower, occasional moisturiser in the evenings, and that's about it.

  2. This looks great for cleansing, I have used cleansing brushes in the past and they have been great. I'm not sure how much use I would get from the other side of it though.

  3. Aghh every time I see a post like this from you I think I need to invest in something like this. I don't think my skin is too bad, however something like this would definitely take it up a notch I'm sure.

  7. I feel like I was destined to see this now: I've been lamenting over my skin getting worse again after over 15 years since I had this really hard-core acne medication that I had to take for 6 months... Imagine what poison, the effects lasted for 15 years! But now the pimples are coming back, so I really need to see if I can find this somewhere😅
