Exfoliating With The Liz Earle Superskin Microdermabrasion Polish

I do like having beauty treatments. It's the kind of self-care I am all for in my life. It's nice to pamper oneself when needed. However, going to a beauty salon for treatments is a little costly. Some beauty treatments I will have done by a beauty professional eg my nails, having my hair coloured etc. Purely because I'm hopeless at doing those sorts of things myself! Skin treatments are a luxury for me, so I'm always looking for products/treatments to do at home with little cost. This is where the Liz Earle Superskin Microdermabrasion Polish comes into play.

The Liz Earle Superskin Microdermabrasion Polish

The Liz Earle Superskin Microdermabrasion Polish is the newest addition to Liz Earle's ever-growing skincare range. I have become such a huge fan of the Liz Earle Cleanse & Glow Transforming Cleanser since its release that I couldn't wait to give this new skincare product a try at home.

So, firstly, what is microdermabrasion? Well, it is a skincare procedure that uses superfine crystals to help exfoliate the skin, improve overall texture and remove dead skin cells. As you can imagine, you'd pay a hefty price having this cosmetic procedure done in a beauty salon. With the Liz Earle Superskin Microdermabrasion Polish, you have the chance to have this beauty treatment at home for a fraction of the cost.

The Liz Earle Superskin Microdermabrasion Polish is designed to achieve advanced skin resurfacing for brighter, younger-looking skin. The product is CF and contains ethically sourced ingredients including Fruit AHAS (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) to help remove skin impurities and brighten the skin. Volcanic pumice to help exfoliate the skin. Shea butter to moisturise the skin and Rosehip Seed Oil to improve moisture retention.

The Liz Earle Superskin Microdermabrasion Polish

It's advised on the packaging (which is recyclable) to use this polish once a week after cleansing. It also states that it's especially important to wear SPF after using this product, as well as every day. This polish is so simple to use:

  1. Lightly massage a small amount of the Liz Earle Superskin Microdermabrasion Polish onto damp skin. Massage in circular movements over your face, neck and decolletage (low neckline).
  2. Leave on your skin for 5 minutes.
  3. Rinse off the polish with warm water.
  4. Make sure to apply a toner and/or moisturise afterwards.

The results have been amazing even after just a couple of uses. My skin feels incredibly invigorated and rejuvenated and there's such a lovely glow. I have certainly noticed a smoother feeling on my skin. I've been so impressed with the transformation of my skin in such a small amount of time. It takes some skincare products weeks to make a difference and for me to be able to see and feel results in such a short space of time has been mind-blowing.

I would most highly recommend this polish if you are looking for a less expensive alternative to have this sort of treatment done in a salon. It costs £30 and there's also free delivery on *Liz Earle's website

  8. This sounds lovely! I'm the same as you when it comes to costs & beauty salons. I'll pay to have my hair professionally done, but I don't think I've ever been to a salon for a facial or anything like this before. This sounds ace though! This would be very much welcomed in my skincare routine. Sounds like a really great little product!
