Who is GLAMRDiP?
GLAMRDiP is a dip-powder nail British brand that believes in using a non-toxic alternative nail treatment to the traditional type. Their Salon-Perfect nail system contains vitamins and minerals to help strengthen the natural nail.
What are the advantages of using GLAMRDip?
GLAMRDiP uses a hypoallergenic formula which is both vegan and cruelty-free. Their formula doesn't use as many as 18 harmful ingredients which are found often in other nail products on the market. They also adopt an ethical and eco-friendly promise when it comes to their brand. Also, they offer a vast range of powder colours, from beautiful nudes to vibrant pinks to dark reds.
How are GLAMRDiP different from Gel nails?
Let's start with this - both nail applications offer stunning, durable results. When it comes to GLAMRDiP's dipping system, it allows us to build up powder layers to achieve a stronger and lightweight finish. With Gels, it is applied in a similar way to nail polish with the top coat cured under a UV light. GLAMRDiP doesn't require UV light to cure your nails. Their formula uses a glaze and powder that dry almost instantly. This means you won't need to put your nails/skin under any UV light or expose yourself to any of its carcinogenic effects.
A dip-powder finish like GLAMRDiP's lasts longer than a gel finish. The brand says that their application lasts for around 2-5 weeks after the first application (depending on the individual).
GLAMRDiP's dip-powder nail system is 100% HEMA and MMA-free, which has been in the spotlight lately. Their system is boosted with vitamins and minerals which help to nourish the nail whilst using the dip-powder system.
What are my initial thoughts on GLAMRDiP?
The first application took a little while as it's a method which I have never tried before. I literally did one nail at a time on my left hand so I could get used to the method. Once I completed it a few times, when I moved onto the right hand, I got a little quicker. The first application wasn't bad, but it wasn't brilliant either. I definitely think that with this dip-powder system, it takes practice to get it right. But I know that once I really get the hang of it, I will eventually perfect each application.
What I love about GLAMRDiP is that they're a vegan and CF nail brand. It's something I haven't come across within the nail industry, which is nice to see. I feel the dip-powder application is definitely a safer application than Gel nails, the big advantage being that there's no UV light involved during the application process. After I did my nails, my nails looked and felt great. I can tell already that they feel quite durable, which is a bonus.
I'm excited to try the rest of this amazing kit the brand sent me! I'm looking forward to continuing to use GLAMRDiP now and trying all sorts of powder shades!
I would love to know your thoughts on GLAMRDiP - Is it a nail application method that you would like to try?

Ooooh I've not heard of these before, nor have I heard of this type of application process. I have an at home gel kit that I'm very sporadic with. I'd love to give something like this a go though, although like you say, I'm sure I'd find it pretty fiddly to begin with too. I love the shade you've picked too!

It's an application process that is rarely heard of, but it's a much safer nail application alternative to gels. The process does take a bit of practice and it'll take me a few goes until I get it right! The shade is perfect for all year round, I can't wait to try the others now! x
