Celebrating Love for All This Valentine's Day with Boots

Valentine's Day is approaching, it is the time of year when we can celebrate all things love. I remember when I was a child, Valentine's Day centred around giving someone chocolates or flowers. Or wondering and guessing who wrote you the secret Valentine's card that is in your desk drawer. Nowadays, there seems to be so much more focus on celebrating all the types of love we have in the world. Whether you're celebrating Valentine's or Galentine's, love comes in shapes and sizes, even if you are single. Here are some beautiful gifts you can give to the most important people in your life.

As I am single, I have no partner to gift to (yet again) this year. So, I wanted to give some Valentine's Day gifts to the most important person in my life - my Mum. After searching through Boots for Valentine's Day gifts, I found some lovely gifts for my Mum, who I want to show how much I love her and what she means to me!

When choosing the gifts, I wanted to choose items that I knew she would enjoy using and from brands I know she loves! I wanted my Mam to treat herself to a pamper evening on Valentine's Day (which coincidentally is her birthday!) 

So, which gifts did I choose from Boots to gift my Mum this Valentine's Day?  

1) Versed Brightening Tightening Mask

I'm not trying to tell my Mum anything about her skin! I thought this red clay mask from Versed would be the perfect way to start her Valentine's Day. This Versed mask aims to gently exfoliate and brighten the skin, while also improving its appearance. One advantage of the pouch is that you can get 12 or more uses out of it. 

2) Soap & Glory Puffy Eye Attack Under-Eye Hydrogel Patches

Under eyes are always in need of a glow-up. I am always seeing people on social media asking for recommendations for a solution for tired eyes. These patches from Soap & Glory aim to refresh and revitalise tired and puffy eyes. The ingredients of cucumber juice and liquorice root certainly will help with the replenishment and revitalisation. My Mam can kill two birds with one stone and apply these while the mask is doing its magic!

3) Yankee Candle In Pink Sands

Yankee Candles really are a lovely gift for anyone on Valentine's Day. Boots sell a wide range of Yankee candles to gift your loved one on February 14th. I really wanted this one in Pink Sands as it smells beautiful, and I knew my Mum would like this one. Also, the colour of the candle goes well with her bedroom theme. 

4) Eden & Bay Handcare Duo

My Mam has a hard-working job and sometimes it involves her being out in the cold, which can affect the skin on her hands. I wanted to buy her this lovely gift of hand cream and hand wash from Eden & Bay. These items have a lovely aroma of eucalyptus and verbena, which blend in really nicely in your hands. 

5) Maybelline Lifter Gloss Plumping Hydrating Lip Gloss

The perfect way to end the Valentine's pamper session. After applying her makeup ready for the day, my Mam could finish off her look with this gorgeous lip gloss from Maybelline. I got the shade in the nearest tint to her lips. I knew my Mam would prefer something like that.
