So yes, what better gift guide to start on than a Valentine's Day gift guide. I'll be single (as per) this Valentine's Day and I thought, rather than blithering on about being single for Valentine's Day and just drowning my sorrows with vodka and buying myself some new underwear, I thought I'd do a gift guide for those who are celebrating Valentine's this year at home.
Valentine's Day is always seen as my Mam's birthday anyway so Valentine's doesn't impact me whatsoever. I'll probably be ordering myself and my mother a birthday takeaway and pigging out in front of the TV as we can't go out anywhere (for obvious reasons).
These are my first gift guides, so please be kind! In these gift guides, I wanted to include some small businesses that are selling lovely, personal Valentine's gifts. I've made a promise to myself this year that I will support as many small businesses as I can this year. They need our customs more than ever right now!
Let's start with the gift guide for him:
1) Tommy Hilfiger Men's Watch - I know so many men who have that expensive watch on their wrist, why not treat him to a new one if it's in need of an update?!
2) Calvin Klein Underwear - Obviously, all men have different tastes in terms of what underwear they prefer wearing. If your fella needs a little help buying good underwear, treat him to these trunks from Calvin Klein.
3) BOSS Bottled Eau De Toilette - One of the safest and most pleasing gifts to buy a man this Valentine's Day. You can't go wrong with smellies. Also, add some skincare into the mix. Men need a self-care routine too.
4) Speciality Craft Beers - I was even tempted to buy this gift for myself! A great gift for your man if he likes his alcohol and fancies trying different ones to Strongbow or Budweiser. If he's tee-total, buy him a new coffee maker or some fancy coffee sets.
5) Personalised Leather Card Holder - (Small business) I love a personalised gift, well, everyone does. I think this is a cute yet practical gift that your other half would love!
6) Personalised Toblerone Bar - What person doesn't like food as a gift?! This gift is a bit of fun but very enjoyable, and hopefully, he'll share some with you!
Now let's move on to her gift guide:
1) Jar Of Heart Biscuits - I'm seriously want to eat a jar of these cute biscuits. A cute gift that I'm sure your girlfriend/wife will love!
2) Gold Heart Bracelet - (Small business) This heart bracelet is adorable and a perfect first Valentine's Day gift. It's so delicate and pretty. You can't go wrong with a bit of jewellery, speaking of jewellery...
3) Pandora Heart Stud Earrings - I don't think it would be a Valentine's Day Gift Guide without some Pandora jewellery. These earrings represent Valentine's Day perfectly and they're so pretty!
4) Figleaves Juliette Bra and Underwear Set - The underwear doesn't have to be sexy or something that is going to take like 15 minutes to get into. A woman will be just as happy with comfy underwear. I love this Figleaves set, it's one I own and it makes me feel good and even sexy!
5) Personalised Gift Box - (Small business) - This is just such a romantic and thoughtful gift. Writing down the 10 reasons why I love you to your partner is a great gift and something to treasure. This could be a gift for both men and women, it's just super cute and romantic I think!
6) Giorgio Armani Perfume - I LOVE this perfume. I discovered it after seeing it on InTheFrow's Instagram and I absolutely love the scent, it's a beautiful and subtle floral and wooden aroma and it's in a beautiful bottle. I love perfume bottles!
I hope this has given you some ideas about what to buy for your loved one for Valentine's Day! Let me know your ideas below!

These are some wonderful gift ideas Lucy, and have given me some inspiration for what to get my boyfriend. Valentines Day is a confusing one for me, as I always don't know what the correct protocol is - is it a time for cheesy gifts and light heartedness or a time to splash out? I always try to make my gifts meaningful, although it takes time! Thanks for sharing.
