Five Places In Europe I'd Love To Visit

I think I can safely say that most of us would love to travel to all different places around the world. They could be places that are on your bucket list or you're a graduate wanting to take a gap year and travel the world. The world certainly has a lot to offer, so many different cultures that we would love to experience and be a part of for a short period of time. Holidays also mean making long-lasting memories which you can look back in years to come.

The last time I set foot on a plane was in 2007 when I went to Inverness in Scotland for a week with my Mam and Dad (just before they separated) and one of my friends from school. I've been to France and Florida on numerous occasions during my childhood, but there are other places I'd love to hop on a plane to. But because of CF, it's so much hassle for me to go abroad. Not only is the cost of health insurance steep, but I have to a fit-to-fly test and the possibility of taking oxygen on board. Also getting a medical certificate from my doctor and making sure I have enough medication and spare medication to last me the entire holiday.

I'm hopeless when it comes to geography. I'm useless in telling you where countries are and what their capital cities are, I remember once when Liverpool were in the Champions League and they're were playing Lyon away, I thought Lyon was in Italy, but my Mam was like "What are you on about?! It's in France!" That says it all really!

But I'd love to visit one of these beautiful countries/places in the future. I know where they all are I swear! These places are all so Instgrammable, my photo grid would be full of photo's from these places if I travelled to any of them.

So here's my five places in Europe I'd love to visit:

P A R I S

Paris, the city of love, fashion, art, Coco Chanel and beautiful culture. The Eiffel Tower is obviously the stand out landmark of the French capital, which is somewhere I'd love to visit and admire it in all it's beauty. I'd love to be able to go to the top and take in the amazing views of Paris and beyond. The Arc de Triomphe is another wonderful monument in the centre of Paris which I'd love to see.
The Parisian cafes look so cute and have such a vintage look. I'd also love to take a boat ride along the River Seine and visit the lock bridge and place a lock on the chains of the bridge, hopefully with a boyfriend, whenever I get one!

Santorini is one of the islands in the Aegean Sea and it looks beautiful. The pretty whitewashed houses make Santorini stand out from the rest. I've seen pictures of a beautiful sunset and sun rise in Oia and it makes me want to go there just to sit on a chair on a balcony with a glass of wine overlooking the sea and watch the sun rise or set!
The one thing I like the look of is that this place looks so peaceful and serene. My kind of holiday. I love the idea of exploring through the streets of Oia on the cobblestoned pathways and take in the view of the sea and the town's most famous landmark, the blue dome-roofed church which represents the town and Santorini in general. This is probably the most picturesque and Instgrammable place you'll ever see.

This picture of Copenhagen reminds me of the TV programme Balamory. The houses looks so bright and vivid. Copenhagen seems like such a friendly place. I'd love to visit Tivoli Gardens, a 19th century amusement park. I love amusement parks, and this one is supposed to be fantastic.
Another famous landmark is The Little Mermaid, which is a bronze statue based on the Langelinie Promenade.

Portugal is most definitely a place I'd love to visit. Particularly Faro, which is the Algarve's capital. I read online that it seems to be the unforgotten place in the Algarve, which is surprising. It seems like such a gorgeous place. The Rio Formosa lagoon is an impressive sight to see and you can take a boat trip to explore the five islands that are a part of the lagoon. There are also a few rustic cathedrals I'd like to go and see.

What can I say? Italy looks stunning. I haven't chosen any city in particular because all of Italy is beautiful. From seeing the Colosseum in Rome to shopping in Milan, the city of fashion, to driving through the bright fields of Tuscany, Italy certainly, for me, has a lot to offer. I think one of the main reasons I'd love to go to Italy is for the food! I think it's safe to say my dietitian would be well chuffed if I went to Italy and came back two pounds heavier! I'd love to sit on a gondola in Venice and sit back and watch the world Italia go by. The Leaning Tower of Pisa is another excellent and classic landmark to see and also the beauty that is the Amalfi Coast.
That's my list complete! There are plenty more destinations I'd love to fly to but these places are definitely in my top five.
What places would you love to go to? Are these places on your travel bucket list?
