*This is a paid post with The Green Co. Please read the end of the post for more details.

We love our clothes. We want to give them the best care. You think about how much money we spend on them every year, and also, how much time we spend wearing, washing, drying, ironing, and hanging them up. It's a lot of time when you come to think about it. To keep our clothes looking good and lasting longer, we want to buy the best-quality laundry products. There are many choices on supermarket shelves, and it's hard to choose what is best. However, if you're looking for a sustainable option, you definitely need to consider The Green Co.

What cleaning products does The Green Co. make?

The brand sells different cleaning products, including:

The products I will be discussing are the Laundry Detergent Sheets and Fabric Conditioner Sheets.

Let's start with the Green Co. Laundry Detergent Sheets

The Green Co. Laundry Detergent Sheets are eco-friendly laundry detergent sheets that are powerful enough to clean any load of washing in your washing machine. They are non-bio sheets that dissolve in seconds in the washing machine. They come in two different scents - Fresh Linen and Lavender. There is also a fragrance-free option.

To use, all you simply do is:

  1. Grab a Laundry Detergent Sheet and split the sheet along the dotted line.
  2. Throw the sheet in your machine before you put in the clothes.
  3. Put your washing load in, turn on your preferred wash setting and voila!

There are many aspects of these Laundry Detergent Sheets to love:

  • They are natural and gentle. Made with plant-powered ingredients and zero toxic chemicals. They are also plastic-free.
  • They are hypoallergenic approved. These are great for those who have sensitive skin and are also safe for children and pets.
  • The sheets are vegan, GMO-free, and are packed in compostable plastic-free boxes.
  • The sheets are fantastic at removing the toughest of stains.
  • Space-saving - no huge bottles or boxes taking up half your shelf space.
  • No need to pre-measure anything - just tear off a sheet and go!
  • Completely mess-free - no fabric conditioner spillages!
  • Lightweight and low-waste - these sheets are around 1/10th the weight of traditional detergents. Also, there's no chance of overloading on the traditional detergent!
  • They're travel-friendly - can easily take with you on your next staycation!

I've been using these, and honestly, the difference it has made to my whole laundry routine is insanely good! These sheets work in all machine types. They also work for any cycle you choose to wash your clothes in (hot, cold, woollens and delicates). You can even use these to do a hand wash. My clothes feel so clean and, well, washed, for want of a better word. It's fascinating how a small sheet can have a positive impact on my washing!

Let's move on to the Green Co. Fabric Conditioner Sheets

The Fabric Conditioner Sheets are basically fabric softener in sheet form. They are designed to do exactly the same job as fabric softener. They keep your washing soft, fresh and static-free. The sheets come in two different scents - Fresh Linen and Lavender.

There are a couple of ways to use the Fabric Conditioner Sheets:

  1. Add a sheet to the drum along with your Laundry Detergent sheet.
  2. Pop into the machine drawer where you'd normally pour your fabric softener. You can add 50-100ml, just to ensure that it fully dissolves.
  3. Dilute into a jug of some warm water and pour into the drawer.

Try all of these methods to see which works best for you. For me, adding both a Laundry Detergent sheet and a Fabric Conditioner Sheet together in the drum works just fine. If you live in a hard water area, you may add two Fabric Conditioner sheets.

There are many features that you'll love about these Fabric Conditioner Sheets:

  • The sheets keep your clothes feeling soft, smelling fresh and static-free.
  • No mess is involved, like with liquid fabric softener. The sheet dissolves quickly in your machine.
  • They work in any machine and on any washing cycle you use, including cold, woollen, delicates and quick washes. They can handle anything from baby grows to bedding!
  • Perfect for those with sensitive skin and hypoallergenic-approved.
  • They are eco-friendly and ethical. They're made with plant-based ingredients and are plastic-free. They are also vegan and cruelty-free.
  • Each sheet costs 12p per wash.

I do love these Fabric Conditioner sheets! The scents smell lovely and refreshing! I know some people are not so keen on the smell of lavender, but the scent is not too strong, I promise. Since using these conditioner sheets, my clothes feel incredibly soft and smell so much fresher coming out of the machine. If you're not a fan of the mess that fabric softener causes when pouring it in the drawer, these sheets are perfect for you!

Let's delve into the brand, The Green Co.:

To sum up...

The Green Co. is a fantastic brand, and its initiative to buy more sustainable and eco-friendly cleaning products is great! The products I have tried are of amazing quality, and my clothes have truly seen the benefits of using the sheets! One factor which I do love is the simplicity of use and the fact that there is no mess involved. I never thought I'd be this impressed by these, but they have certainly blown me away with how good they are!

Another aspect I love is that you can buy a sample pack of either of these sheets for just 95p. A sample pack contains four sheets, and it's a great chance to try them if this post has piqued your interest!

I'd highly recommend The Green Co. and its products to anyone who is looking for more eco-friendly cleaning products for their home.
