Taking My Life Back

"Unfuckwithable"
Definition - feel totally in charge of your emotions
and no longer have "good" or "bad" days.

Ok ok, I admit I haven't written THE most upbeat posts in the last month and I kind of apologise for being 'Grumpy'. Before I start singing "Hi-ho, hi-ho", let's get stuck into this post.
Now that I made that decision to move on all by myself (what a very adulty thing for me to do!) and I'm starting to feel good about things, it's time to take control of my life again!

Taking My Life Back
Dress // Boohoo

I feel like I'm starting adulthood from scratch and I couldn't be more thrilled about that! Some may say that I'm going through a mid, mid-life crisis or they may cheer me on with pom poms, who knows?! All I know is that thing's seem more exciting than they did a few years ago and I am what I call ecstatic!

I'm not saying it'll be easy, Lord knows, life hasn't dealt me an easy hand at times. I just need to take my life and give it a good shake by the shoulders and tell it to pull itself together. There are so many things I want to do and try. For instance, I'd love to set up my own blogging photography business, I want to write a blogging Ebook, I want to travel to more places around the UK (money permitting of course) and even finally renew my passport and go abroad to a couple of the places on my travel wanderlust list. I can't find my existing passport in my house, believe me, I've looked everywhere! I wonder if I put it in that secret cupboard upstairs?

Taking My Life Back

Anyway, enough about lost passports. I think I can safely say that even though I have pushed myself out of that comfort zone everyone talks about, I feel like I have slumped back into that comfort zone armchair, pigging out on pizza and waiting for and declining life's next big opportunity.

I'm going to (try) be brave enough to start over, if I want to lead the life I want, I've got to chase what I want and be courageous enough to, regardless of any obstacles that may get thrown my way. I need to become "unfuckwithable" (see top for definition) . I have actually fallen in love with that word. Good old Pinterest for showing this word on my feed when I was searching for quotes.

Taking My Life Back

I'm determined now to not let anyone steal my smile, well, not anytime soon. My life is my story - my book. Nobody else will write it for me and I will not apologise for the edits I make to it.

A little bit of wisdomly advice for you lovely readers, life is what you make of it. If there's something you don't like about it, fix it. Get rid of any toxicity, anything or anyone that brings you to tears. You have to forget about how you feel and think about what you deserve. Sometimes being a little selfish is ok, it doesn't make you a bitch, it shows you care about yourself.

You'll learn lessons along the way, some happy and some sad - but you'll learn from them and that's how you grow. Take your life back if you've lost it, don't let it slip away. It's up to you what you do in your life, fuck what anyone else thinks, your life is YOURS.

Taking My Life Back

One thing I do need to take control of again is my bingo ways, I do apologise for the look of them in this picture, I'm one of those people who's weight goes straight to the arms. Ridiculous! Also there was a LOT of belly sucking in going on here, I knew I shouldn't have shot these pictures after lunch.

  6. I definitely think it's 100% necessary to wallow in some self pity after a hard time, eat all the food and do some unproductive things just to let yourself heal. But there comes a point when you have to give yourself a push and be like THAT'S ENOUGH, time to move my bum and carry on. I feel this on so many levels. You can still be healing and move forward, though and healing is never linear! Wishing you lots of luck in your journey :-) Oh and also add to the list "be kinder to my appearance" as you look more than lovely as you are!
