We have made it through the most miserable month of the year! Personally, I'm not a fan of January. I just feel downbeat and flat for most of it. It takes a lot to make me smile during January. But I have had a few things to smile this month!
In the world of blogging, I've been really pleased of how much my blog has come along! Not only did I have a mention from the lovely Luke Heywood in his Follow Friday post , those all important view stats have gone through the roof! It's due to my CF post which I posted last week. I never expected to get such a profound reaction and response as I have done. So thank you to everyone who took the time to read, giggle and send me such lovely compliments.

In regards to social media, it's been a great month. I went through a phase back last month where my Instagram engagement had gone a bit haywire. But it seems to have picked up again, since I started blogging, I never really looked at the numbers of likes for photos as much as I do now! It sounds beyond ridiculous saying something like that, only bloggers can associate themselves with this and know what I mean!

Twitter has been an amazing source for my blog this month, and it has also been an amazing source to get people to sign a CF/Orkambi petition, and thanks to the numerous retweets, we got to the 100,000 mark thanks to the kindness of strangers and the online world.

Here are my first social media stats of 2018:

Definitely the most popular blog post I've ever written. Like I said in the second paragraph, I never expected such a huge response from the big World Wide Web. Thank you so much for everyone who took the time to read and comment on the post! It is worth a read, I wouldn't want you to suffer my wrath if you say any of those things to me...

I absolutely adore this t-shirt. It basically sums up my life. It's from Broken Heart Tees. For every sale of a product, £2 goes to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Amazing company.

I don't need to say much. I've already spoken about it in this post!

Personal Favourite:
I have been feeling like I need to jump on a plane and go to Santorini for a week. If it wasn't for the stupid costs of travel insurance and, well, basically not being able to even book a taxi to the airport, I'd have gone by now. But that doesn't stop me from letting you have my special code LUCY50 (for January and February only, after that it goes back to LUCY25) on UK Venture Travel to get £50 off your next booking!
Goodbye January, I suppose its been a pleasure. February is going to be a fun filled month, I got so many plans and things to look forward to, I'm sure I'll be more upbeat next month!
